ZenHabits.netSomething that we have a lot of in my household is clutter.  It is not intentional and my husband and I are always trying to keep it clutter-free, but never-the-less, it still exists.  Not only is there clutter on our shelves and counter-tops, but there is also plenty of mental clutter.  It seems that so much of the time we are trying to rid ourselves of that as well.  Enter ZenHabits.net, the Useful Website of the Week.

I have found this website to be truly useful in the war against clutter in our house, as well as our lives in general.  It seems as though a clutter-free lifestyle is much more of a journey than a destination, and ZenHabits.net has been a very instrumental tool on our journey.

This website is not just about clutter though, not by a long shot.  On the website’s About page, the author Leo Babauta describes ZenHabits as the following:

Zen Habits covers: achieving goals, productivity, being organized, GTD, motivation, eliminating debt, saving, getting a flat stomach, eating healthy, simplifying, living frugal, parenting, happiness, and successfully implementing good habits.

Now that is my kind of site! I think what I like the most about the site is that the information is all stuff that can be done by regular people, if you know what I mean. All too often when I read articles designed to help improve something, the tips aren’t very practical and can seem impossible to implement. Mr. Babauta’s posts are very practical and are often presented in “baby steps”. That can be very helpful when tackling large or overwhelming projects!

With all that being said, I really hope this website proves itself useful in your life.  It has definitely become one of the staples in mine.
